A meeting place for the community of
worldwide ex-students of
St. Thomas’ School, Kidderpore,
Kolkata, India.
St Thomas' School is a kindergarten to higher secondary school
for boys and girls located in Kidderpore, India. It has one of the
largest campus areas in the city of Kolkata comprising of three football
size fields, two basketball courts and children's playgrounds.
The school is the
oldest in the state of West Bengal and perhaps the second oldest in
India. It has two adjacent sections -
St. Thomas’ Boy’s School (STBS)
and
St. Thomas’ Girl’s School (STGS).
The campus also houses the
St.
Thomas’ College of Engineering & Technology,
and there is a church which too is one of the oldest of churches
in Kolkata, the
St.
Stephen’s Church. The students of the school are nicknamed as
Thomasites
(Boys) and Thomasinas (Girls).
